2025 Year in Review
A Year of Wildlife, Wonder, and Meaningful Moments
As 2025 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on a season defined by unforgettable wildlife encounters, deep connection to place, and the people who made every journey meaningful. From glass-calm mornings among breaching humpbacks to long northern evenings filled with learning and laughter, this year reminded us why we do what we do.
Gratitude for Our Guests

To everyone who joined us in 2025—thank you. These expeditions are shaped as much by the people onboard as by the places we explore. Your curiosity, patience, respect for wildlife, and willingness to slow down made every trip richer. All photographs featured in this review were captured by our guests while traveling with us this season.
A Season Defined by Wild Encounters
Our 2025 expeditions took us deep into Southeast Alaska’s untamed coastline, where no two days were ever the same. Highlights included humpback whales bubble-net feeding, orcas hunting with precision, brown and black bears fishing remote shorelines, vast rafts of sea otters in kelp forests, and Steller sea lions filling the air with sound at bustling haulouts.
Growing With Purpose
This year marked meaningful growth for our company. We refined itineraries to prioritize multi-day photography tours, continued operating small-group expeditions, invested in onboard comfort and safety, strengthened conservation-aligned partnerships, and expanded our journeys to include authentic Tlingit cultural elements—always guided by respect for place.
Giving Back to the Community
At the heart of everything we do is a deep respect for the wildlife, waters, and communities that make our expeditions possible. In 2025, we supported the Alaska Raptor Center and the Alaska Whale Foundation through donations and fundraising efforts that directly contribute to wildlife care, research, and education.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we turn our eyes toward 2026, our commitment remains the same: to offer immersive, ethical, and deeply rewarding wildlife experiences in one of the last truly wild corners of the world.
