What an epic day today on AWhalessongexpeditions.com Seldom Seen Southeast Alaska Photography tour. Turn on the sound hear the whales communicating. 51. Bubble-nets with most having 16 whales plus 8 breaches and one double breach in the group in flat seas.
Many more pics to come. #humpbackwhale #sealaska #wildlifephotography
My personal best King. 27.4 lbs. caught 98lbs over the course of the derby. The 27 lber fought and ran a ton. I can’t imagine what a 40lb king never mind a 50 or 60 lber would fight like. Good times!
That’s a wrap. What a great Bubble-net season! Thanks to Mike , Chatham, Gary, Parker, Ricky for all the help and Sean for your incredible camera skills and inspiring photos. 2027 and 2028 prime dates are going fast and even some for 2029.
