May 21, 2018 – A Whale’s Song Expeditions is delighted to announce our partnership with the World Cetacean Alliance. We are honored to be the first and only company in the great State of Alaska to partner with this global organization. The World Cetacean Alliance (WCA) is a Partnership of over 90 non-profit organizations, whale and dolphin watching tour operators and individuals in 40 countries worldwide working collaboratively to protect cetaceans and their habitats.

Our guests were rewarded this past few weeks with abundant wildlife encounters and a bunch of great days of smooth sailing. Puffins by the dozens, Humpbacks, Minke Whales, Gray Whales, Harbor Porpoise, Stellar Sea – Lions, Otters with Pups, Coastal Brown Bears, Tufted Puffins, Marbled Murlettes, Rhino Auklets, Surf Scoters, Cormorants. We were fortunate to witness some impressive animal behaviors; a baby Gray Whale breaching about 15 times, a couple of Humpbacks lunge feeding, a Juvenile Bald Eagle hanging upside down like a bat and Coastal Brown Bear only about 50 yards away overturning rocks on the beach finding snacks!
